Cinemavault takes on THE CORRIDOR and APART

November 2, 2011 – Los Angeles, CA – Toronto-based Cinemavault has acquired the international rights to Canadian sci-fi thriller THE CORRIDOR and US psychological thriller APART.

THE CORRIDOR follows a group of friends into a remote cabin in the woods where a supernatural force tears them apart.  

The film was awarded Best Screenplay at this year’s Fantastic Fest in the AMD “Next Wave” Spotlight Competition and the Gold Audience Choice Award for Best Canadian Feature at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. It was also an official selection at Toronto After Dark.

 
APART is a US produced thriller that tells the story of two teenagers drawn together by love, but torn apart by a rare psychic connection. Noah and Emily must uncover the tragic mysteries of their past in order to stop them from reoccurring in their future.

Cinemavault’s VP Acquisitions, Craig Morrow, and Managing Director, John Dunstan, negotiated THE CORRIDOR deal with producers Mike Masters and Craig Cameron; Morrow negotiated the APART deal with producer Ryan Rettig.

Both films will make its market premiere at the AFM.
